(Beginning again in May 2010) al-anon-buttonColoma Cycling Club meets every Saturday, 8:30am at the Coloma Hotel. Bring your own bike or rent one. Ride, tour a local business, meet people - no cost!

Open Mic Night 1st Thursday of each month at Coloma Hotel, 7-9pm. Always a guest writer/poet/artist. Bring an original piece of poetry, prose, music, or art to share with the audience.

Coloma Summer Library Programs, Thursdays at 1pm, June 17th thru August 12th - Featuring Soda pups; Origami - the art of paper folding; build a ship, and many more activities.  There will also be a Reading Challenge open to children, young adults and even adults with prizes, guessing and drawings going on all summer.

Live Music at the Coloma Hotel:  Cody Clauson Jazz Trio on Wednesdays in January (6th, 13th and 20th) 7 – 9 pm.

January 14  - Waushara County Wisconsin Interfaith Needs Response fundraiser at Camp Lakotah, 6:30 to 8:30pm.  Enjoy an evening of fine wine, beer and fun foods made before your eyes.  Limited seating - call The Moose Inn (920-787-2241) for tickets.  $50/person (2 tickets for $90 if purchased prior to 12/31/09).

January 23 - 4th Saturday Lunch (A FREE Community Meal), 11am to 1pm at St. Joe's Parish Hall, Hwy. 22, Wautoma.  Come and Join Us!  Bring a friend along – everyone is welcome.

January 23 (Alternate Date January 30, 2010)  - 17th Annual Mr. Ed's Fisheree (Pine Lake - Hwy K, Wild Rose). Starts at 7am, $500 first prize raffle at 3:30pm. Numerous other raffle prizes from businesses all over Waushara County.  "Big Fish Prize" for Walleye, Northern, Bass, Panfish.  Need not be present to win raffle prizes. Food and refreshments available at beer tent on the lake. 

January 23  - Rural Christian Women's Conference, " A Perfect Mess."  Nationally known speakers Kim Hill and Lisa Harper @ Parkside Middle School gym, 9AM - 4PM.  Call 787-2861 for more information.

February 6 - Winter Flurry to benefit the Family Resource Center, 5pm to 10pm, Pine Ridge of Wautoma (N3387 State Rd. 73, Wautoma). Tickets $30/person or table of 6 for $165. Fee includes elegant dinner (with choice of Salmon en Crouti or Stuffed Chicken Breast), entertainment featuring local youth, LIVE auction items, SILENT auction package and raffles.  Tickets must be purchased by January 18 - call 920/787-3949 for more information.

February 6 - 11th Annual Candlelite Sweetheart Event - Hike, Snowshoe or Ski, 5 - 9pm at Bohn Lake Segment (3 miles southeast of Hancock - County C to 9th Drive, go North to the Constance Downey residence at N3899 9th Drive, Hancock).  Trail lit by 500 candles; heated barn hosted by Constance Downey; campfire all evening.  Enjoy the Clauson Family Band entertaining for the evening, refreshments and more.  $5/individual; $10 family. Sand & mud volleyball tournaments, softball tournaments, adult games, village wide garage sales, horseshoe tourney, kid tractor pulls, quilt show, car show, chicken drop, parade, bingo, arts & crafts and raffles. Live music.  Featuring chicken bar-b-que, brats/ hot dogs all weekend. Sponsored by the Coloma Lions Club.

June 27 - Waushara June Dairy Breakfast (Gateway Acres Farms, N3931 St Rd 49, Poy Sippi). Breakfast will include Pancakes, Real Maple Syrup, Real Honey, Ham, Hash browns, Cheese, Milk, Coffee, Orange Juice, Ice Cream & Cranberries. Activities include: Animal display, little farmer dress-up contest, introduction of past farm hosts, music and door prizes. Come early, eat and sit and enjoy the music and fellowship.

July 2 - Neshkoro River's Edge Park Gazebo Concert, 7pm, featuring Enroute Music (also known as Porchboard Music).  Rain location:  Neshkoro Elementary School gym.  Bring a lawnchair and blanket and enjoy the evening.

July 3 - Neshkoro Fire Department FIreworks, along the White River in the village, beginning at dusk.  Brats, hamburgers and hot dogs also being sold at the Forestation on Main Street.  Dance at 6:30pm by DJ Sonny.  Neshkoro's fireworks display is known throughout as spectacular - you won't be disappointed!

July 2-4 - Independence Day festivities start at 6pm with a parade down Main Street.  (Parade line up is on Waupaca St.). Following parade there will be fun, games and fireworks at the Fairgrounds. Food and beverages will be available.  Games for the children, including our famous miniature train. Entertainment on the infield to sit back and enjoy. A major entertainment event will be announced in the spring, after details are finalized.

July 17 - Neshkoro Community Chorus Concert, 5:15 pm, St. James Place. This is an early Saturday evening concert.  The group, under the direction of Marilyn Brockopp and Wayne Doverspike, will present a program designed to thrill the audience and showcase an ensemble made up of members from the Neshkoro area as well as from many surrounding communities.  The evening ends with a delicious and delightful pie and ice cream social.

July 18 - Rural Rembrandt Art Club Annual Show, World War II, 61th annual show in which 50+ artists exhibit their work on panels. Painting, photography and three dimensional art works are featured and judged.

July 22 - Coloma Concerts in the Park featuring the Clausen Family

July 23 - Neshkoro River's Edge Park Gazebo Concert, 7pm, featuring husband and wife team Wayne and Sarie Doverspike.  Rain location:  Neshkoro Elementary School gym.  Bring a lawnchair and blanket and enjoy the evening.
