The entry must have the theme of "Happy Birthday Coloma" or "It's the Sesquicentennial!" A monthly $25 gift certificate to be used at Coloma area businesses

May 15 - Coloma Elementary Breast Cancer Walk for adults, 3:30-5pm. at Coloma
Elementary School. 3:30-4 is sign-up; walk from 4 until 5pm. 1k is $5; family 1k is $10; 3k is $10; family 3k is $20. Special silent auction following walk and refreshments for
purchase. All proceeds to stay in Coloma area.
May 15 - Wautoma Community Nature Program - The Wonder of Cranes, The Ghost Birds (symbols of serenity & longevity). Presentations by International Crane
Foundation Representative. 7pm, Parkside School, 300 S. 16th Avenue, Wautoma. Presentation is free to the public and sponsored by Wautoma Community Nature
Programs/City of Wautoma and Wautoma Area Schools A+ Program.

May 16 - 8th Annual Frontier Adventure Race Spring Challenge at Camp LuWiSoMo in Wild Rose. Central Wisconsin Adventures (www.cwackers.org) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing youth with diverse backgrounds together in an
atmosphere of impartiality, where everyone's contribution is valued. This Adventure Race includes: biking, trekking, orienteering, paddling and portaging, geo-caching
and other mystery events. There are 4 divisions:
- High School Traditional (co-ed teams of 4 students and one adult mentor);
- Middle School Traditional (7th and 8th trade co-ed teams of 4 students and one adult
mentor);
- Grade School Traditional (4th-6th trade co-ed teams of 4 students and one adult mentor;
and
- Open Division (any age or gender combination).
The race course for the Open Division will be selected by the Race Directors based on
the youngest person(s) on the team. Early Bird registration by April 1 is $25/participant. To register your team call 920/787-4222. Proceeds from this race
funds scholarships for race participants who qualify. Central Wisconsin Adventures is also seeking volunteers, mentors and sponsors for this event.

May 17 – 1st Annual Jennifer Albo Memorial Run, starting 11am from Johann's Bar &
Grill in Richford. Proceeds to benefit special needs children of Waushara County. Rain or shine, motorcycle or car - everyone is welcome! Registration from 9am to 11am,
$20/person or $35/couple. Door prizes, raffles, music and food at Johann's after the Run. Music provided by Mr. Funchez and Savoir Faire. For more info or to donate a

May 18 – Youth-sponsored bake sale during Sunday School hour at Grace United Methodist Church. Donation of baked goods can be brought to the church by 9am
Sunday morning. Proceeds to support Jose, the children's world mission child from el Salvador.

regarding cemeteries, do's and don'ts to repair stones, and abandoned old cemeteries. Speaker Beverly Silldorf of Mequon, WI has been President of the Wisconsin State
Old Cemetery Society for the past 14 years. She will speak on studying and understanding cemeteries for genealogical research from 10am to 2pm, followed by a
