October 31 - Trick or Treating in Coloma. Check with your local City or Town Hall for hours.

October 31 - Haunted Halloween Hop at the Waushara County Historical Society Museum, 6:30pm to 10pm. Hear "For Madmen Only" by Steppenwolf, combined with Edgar Allen Poe's "Telltale Heart" and visit the museum's attic....if you date!

November 1 - 30th Annual Harvest Dinner sponsored by Hancock-Coloma American Legion Rogers-Oestrick Post #343, American Legion Auxiliary Unit #343 - chicken with all the trimmings, 5-7pm, Hancock Community Center.  Adult meal (per plate) $7; children under 10 at door $4

November 1 -  Wild Rose Hospital Auxiliary's Annual Bake-Craft Sale & Raffle.  $200 1st prize; quilts, afghans, etc. other prizes.  Tickets $1/each or 6/$5.  Tickets may be purchased at the gift shop or from Auxiliary Members.

November 1 -  Blader's Dakota Inn Annual Team Challenge Poker Run and costume contest.  Teams of 2-6 people.  $20/team.  Must register by 6pm. Costume judging at midnight.

November 7/8 - 1st annual Rummage and Huge Bake Sale to benefit Naomi House, 8am to 3pm at Detjens Warehouse (corner of Hwy 21, 4 miles east of Wautoma at 21st Avenue). November 9 - Blader's Dakota Inn Customer Appreciation Buffet during the noon Packer Game.  Our way of showing our appreciation to our friends and customers.

November 13 - Wautoma-Waushara Chapter #4134 of AARP meets at the Waushara -Wautoma Senior Center (W8820 Cottonville Ave., Wautoma), 1:30pm. Meeting includes election of officers, President and several board members.  Guests are always welcome.  Refreshments will be served.

November 17 -Waushara County FACTS Supper (Family and Community Town Supper), 5:45PM, WWII Building, Wautoma. Topic of discussion is "Ending Poverty in Waushara County." A complimentary meal will be served by the Healthy Communities Healthy Youth Committee.  Please register with Pat Bero, c/o Healthy Communities Healthy Youth, Box 1230, Wautoma, WI 54982 if you plan to attend.  Waushara County residents of all ages are invited and encouraged to attend.

November 21 - The Four B***in' Babes Present:  Hormonal Imbalance, 7pm, McComb Bruchs PAC  Dinner package with Moose Inn also available.

November 22 - Tour of Homes, Wautoma area, 11am-4pm.  Lunch catered by The Moose Inn; unique boutique shopping while you wait for the Tour to begin at 1pm.  Also Women's Club cookie sale.  WWII Building, Wautoma.  For more info, call Mary at 920/787-3334.

November 27 - Dakota's 2nd Annual Thanksgiving Day Parade. Looking for local groups and businesses to help support this event. Parade goes around the Dakota Town Square. A special visit from St. Nick plus free pictures for the kids.  Parade starts at 9am. Call Denise at 787-3227 to register your float.

December 12/13 - Cookie Baking Weekend at Mt. Morris Camp & Conference Center, 7pm Friday thru 4:30pm Saturday. Lodging in comfortable sleeping accommodations. Friday snack thru Saturday lunch. Bake and share your favorite cookies.  "Staple" cookie baking supplies provided.  $69/person with registration.
